They use a Heartland Colorant from Amerimulch to not only color their shavings, but transform them with vibrant, long-lasting colors. These colorants are non-hazardous, making the mulch safe for plants, shrubs, pets & children. They are water-based formulas so they are bio-friendly, avoiding any heavy metals or harmful toxins.
